02 jun Final multiplier event Olomouc
At the end of May 2026, partners of the Active Citizen Compass (ACC) Erasmus+ project came together in Olomouc, Czech Republic, for the project’s final multiplier event and closing meeting. Hosted by the Faculty of Education at Palacký University, the gathering marked the final step in a multi-year collaboration focused on strengthening active citizenship education across Europe.
The multiplier event on 29 May was dedicated to presenting the main outcomes of the project, while 30 May focused on the final internal meeting of the consortium. Together, these two days provided an opportunity both to share results with a wider audience and to complete the practical steps required to formally conclude the project. During the multiplier event, we shared the outcomes of the different work packages, including:
· A comparative analysis of active citizenship across Europe
· The development of the Active Citizen Compass
· Classroom implementation and teaching practices
· Policy recommendations for schools
Poster sessions and student engagement completed and enriched the programme. The following day was reserved for the consortium’s internal discussions. Partners reviewed the project as a whole, finalised reporting requirements, and clarified remaining deadlines and administrative steps. Of course social activities such as a guided city tour and shared dinners could not be missed.
The meeting in Olomouc marked the conclusion of the Active Citizen Compass project in a practical and focused way. It provided space to present the results, exchange final reflections, and complete the necessary closing steps. The materials and insights developed throughout the project will remain available for educators and stakeholders interested in active citizenship education, supporting future initiatives in this field.
